PANAJI: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) has acknowledged that resentment following organisational appointments is a natural occurrence in any political party, while stressing the need for unity and collective action.
In a statement, the party said it respects every viewpoint and is committed to reaching out to all leaders and workers who may have concerns regarding recent appointments.
“Resentment after appointments is natural in any political party. We respect every viewpoint and will reach out to everyone. Our effort will be to unite every Congress worker and leader under one banner and move forward together,” the GPCC said.
The party leadership emphasised that its primary objective is to strengthen the organisation and prepare for future political challenges in Goa through a united approach.
Highlighting the importance of collective responsibility, the GPCC stated that personal differences should not overshadow the larger goal of serving the people of the state.
“The mission is bigger than individuals. The mission is Goa,” the statement added.
The remarks come amid discussions within the party following recent organisational changes, with the leadership reiterating its commitment to maintaining unity and strengthening the Congress at all levels across the state.
