PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today said that Congress has no faith in their candidates, which is compelling them to create drams to divert the attention of the people.
CM Sawant was reacting to statements made by the Congress party claiming that the BJP had been tapping phone calls of its leader and candidates ahead of counting, which is scheduled for March 10.
“Congress appears to have no faith in their candidates, which is compelling them to create dramas to divert the attention of the people; rather than making frivolous allegations,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that Goa Congress President needs to tame his candidates with no control.
“With the blessings of the people, BJP will get a clear mandate to form the next government in Goa,” he added.
CM Sawant also said that in view of the low COVID-19 positivity rate in the state, the expert committee has advised resuming economic activities with 100 percent capacity.
“In view of less positivity rate COVID19 cases, the expert committee has advised resuming economic activities with 100% capacity. The government will take the decision by tomorrow & will resume the activities including casinos,” he said.
