PANAJI: DGP Goa, alok Kumar, IPS, held a meeting with the Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (GSCPCR) to reinforce collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing child safety and welfare in the State.
The interaction focused on strengthening coordination between law enforcement agencies and the Commission, along with promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building to address issues related to child protection more effectively.
Officials discussed the importance of a more integrated approach in responding to cases involving children, with emphasis on timely intervention, awareness initiatives, and improved institutional support systems.
The meeting underlined the commitment of both the police department and the Commission to work in close coordination for safeguarding the rights and well-being of children in Goa.
