PORVORIM: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHE), in a circular, has informed that the first terminal exam for Class X and XII students will begin on November 10.
GBSHSE said that the class X exam would end on November 29, while the Class XII exam would end on November 25.
“The examination will begin at 2.30 pm each day, during which students have to report to the examination centre at 2 pm,” said GBSHSE.
Eighteen thousand students in each class are expected to answer the first-term examination. The second terminal exam will likely be held on April 1, 2023.
Further, the Board introduced a special evaluation scheme for Class X and XII students.
Under the scheme, the syllabus is divided into two equal parts for the first term and the second term.
The Board conducts both these term-end examinations in lieu of conducting a single public exam at the end of the academic year.
