MAUXI: MLA Dr Deviya Rane laid the foundation stone for the repair and renovation of the Anganwadi Centre at Khalchawada-Mauxi, aimed at improving infrastructure and facilities for children in the area.
The renovation project, estimated at ₹17 lakh, will include replacement and upgrading of roofing with double-skin sheets, installation of new flooring and wall tiles, painting of the building, and essential plumbing works to create a safer and more comfortable environment for children and staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Deviya Rane said investing in better spaces for children remains a priority as their future depends greatly on the environment created for them during their formative years.
She stated that the upgraded Anganwadi centre would help provide a more child-friendly atmosphere and improve the overall learning and care experience for young children in the locality.
