PANAJI: BJP Goa President and Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Tanavade today announced that BJP Bhavan will be built at Merces.
Tanavade was addressing the media on the sidelines of a BJP program in the capital.
“The BJP Bhavan will be built at Merces next to Panaji to Ponda National Highway. All the legal formalities have been completed” said Tanavade.
He further information that BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda will be in Goa to the lay foundation stone.
“Notification announcing Lok Sabha polls is likely by February end or March. BJP candidates for both the Loksabha constituencies in Goa will be declared by that time,” he said Tanavade.
Tanavade also said that the election offices in both constituencies will also be launched by Feb 15.
“Surveys are being undertaken to zero down on prospective winnable candidates,” Tanavade.
He also informed that party Lok Sabha poll in-charge Ashish Sood is meeting party leaders in Goa and discussing party strategy for ensuing polls.
