PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that Goa can become a hub of education where students from across the world can pursue their studies.
“The state can become a hub of education with students coming from across the world. Goa has already passed the Private Universities Bill a couple of years ago,” said Sawant
He further said that the opening of education space, India could be positioned as an education hub in Asia, and Goa could be ready to position itself as an important educational destination.
“Goa thrives to accommodate world-class institutions that cater to holistic education in the state to become the Educational Hub for students from across the world,” he added
Sawant said that Goa is privileged to host 8 of the G20 Events from April to July 2023.
“Goa Government ensures full support to events that provide a platform to strengthen the Higher Education community,” he added.
The Chief Minister said that said that Govt. of Goa is coming up with a scheme to incentivize the Millet production in the state. Goa shall definitely enhance the production, consumption of Shree Anna.
“With our Govt’s unique initiative, Govt employees will now be able to draw advance salary,” CM Said
Sawant said that Goa is a progressive state that brings in futuristic, technology driven approaches in Governance.
