DABOLIM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Amit Patkar today expressed confidence that Congress will win both seats in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
GPCC President Amit Patkar spoke to the media after returning from Bangalore after meeting Congress leaders in Karnataka.
“Congress win in Karnataka has given a boost to the party, and Congress will win in states going for assembly elections soon. Congress will win both seats in the upcoming MP elections,” said Patkar.
The BJP has spread a fake narrative that because of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the liberation of Goa was delayed. This is wrong, and they are trying to spread misinformation,” he added.
“The BJP divides the people on religion, language, and other issues. Modi failed to return black money, taking U-turns on all his promises. The time has come to expose their Jumlas and protect our nation,” he said.
He said to protect the culture and peace of Goa, there is a need to win both the Lok Sabha seats in 2024.
Amit Patkar said that the meeting with the block presidents from South Goa was part of the exercise to tone up the party organisation and gear up for the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
“We have guided the block presidents on how to strengthen the party at the block and the booth level. We are confident that the block presidents will take the message down the booth level and strengthen the organisation.” he added.
