PANAJI: Crime Branch in a narcotic raid has arrested a West Bengal native with ganja weighting 1.076 frams and worth Rs 1.05 lakhs in the international market.
The accused has been identified as Rabjiul Hossain Sarkar (25) native of Village – Badangina, PO – Dangarhat, Dist – DakshinDinajpur, West Bengal, C/o D’Cruz, Market Yard, Mapusa – Goa
The raid was conducted at the backside gate of Mapusa Market Yard, Mapusa and greenish colour flowering and fruiting tops of plants substance suspected to be Ganja weighing 1.076 kilograms, all W/Rs.1,05,000/- approximately in international market was seized.
The offence is registered atCrime Branch Police Station vide Crime No. 105/2023 U/Sec. 20 (b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act, 1985. Further investigation of the case is with PSI Jairam N. Kunkolkar,
