PANAJI: All the Members / Components of the Communidades of all the three zones i.e Central, North and South are informed that the Government of Goa has decided to convene the Communidade Convention of delegates of Communidades on January 14, 2024 from 10.00 am onwards at National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula as per Art. 652 of the Code of Communidade.
The Government has appointed a five members Commission comprising of Mr. Estifano C. D’Mello, Attorney of Pilerne Communidade; Mr. Nelson Joe Fernandes, Attorney of Assagao Communidade; Mr. Marvin Stanislavs Gonsalves, Member of Bambolim Communidade; Mr. Savio Joaquim Filipe Correia, President Communidade of Margao and Mr. Avinash Tavares, President Communidade of Colva. Further Mr. Savio J. Filipe Correia is appointed as the Moderator by the said Commission.
The Administrators of Communidades of all the three zones are requested to share the list of maximum of 02 delegates to attend the said convention latest by December 26, 2023, and suggestions are invited from the members/ components of the Communidades to be included in the Agenda points latest by January 2, 2024, the same should be submitted to the respective Administrator of Communidade or directly share on the email id art652meeting2024@gmail.com.
Based on the inputs being received from the respective Communidades, the Agenda for the convention will be finalized by the Commission by January 5, 2024 and same will be uploaded/ available for information on official websites, of Collector (North) on https://northgoa.gov.in/ & Collector (South) on https://southgoa.nic.in/ by 8th January, 2024, apart from service, through normal mode.All the Communidades are requested to extend their full co-operation in timely submitting the above details before due date in order to streamline and foster the progress of the age old institution of Communidades in Goa.
