PANAJI: Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that Fr. Bolmax is currently undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College and assured that the state government is extending every possible support to ensure the best medical care for him.
In a statement, the Health Minister said that the government is closely monitoring Fr. Bolmax’s condition and remains in constant touch with the medical team overseeing his treatment. Rane said he interacted with Dr. Guruprasad Naik, Dr. Rajesh Patil, Dr. Yuri Dias Amborcar, Dr. Tiwari and the Dean of GMC regarding the ongoing treatment protocol and overall medical management.
“We are closely monitoring his health and are in constant touch with the medical team to ensure he receives the best possible care and treatment. The Government of Goa will extend every support required,” Vishwajit Rane stated.
The minister further informed that Dr. Guruprasad Naik is in continuous contact with the family members of Fr. Bolmax to ensure proper coordination and support during the treatment process. Rane also said that he would visit GMC again on Monday morning to review the situation with the doctors.
He concluded the statement by praying for the speedy recovery of Fr. Bolmax.
