MAPUSA: Mapusa police arrested one for possesing 850 grams of ganja worth 80,000 from Karaswada, Mapusa.
SDPO Mapusa jivba Dalvi informed that one Delton Da Costa held during Narcotic raid at IDC, Karaswada , Mapusa with ganja.
He said on Tuesday based on reliable information team of Mapusa Police Station lead by PSI Viraj Korgaonkar along with PSI Bablo Parab HC Sushant Chopdekar, Tukaram Shirodkar, PC Akshay Patil, Tukaram Kambli, Nitesh Naik conducted a narcotic raid at Near IDC Canteen, IDC, Karaswada, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa and arrested one Mr. Delton Edward Diego Da Costa S/o Merwyn Luio Cilve DaCosta, aged 27 years R/o St. Sebastainwado, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa who was found in illegal possession of narcotic drug i.e. Ganja weighing 850 grams which he had brought to deliver to his prospective customer.
Narcotic Substance i.e. Ganja weighing 850 grams W/Rs. 80,000/- has been seized from custody of accused.
An FIR U/Sec 20 (b) (ii)(A) of NDPS Act registered at Mapusa Police Station.
The raid was conducted under overall supervision of SP North Shri Nidhin Valsan, IPS and SDPO, Mapusa Jivba Dalvi and PI Shitakant Nayak.
