MAPYSA: Anjuna police have arrested two Kenyan nationals for overstaying.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on Thursday at Vagator Goa Anjuna Police Station staff apprehended two foreign ladies namely (1) Ms Lucy Mumbai Irara, age 39 yrs, Kenya National at present R/o Vagator Bardez Goa and (2) Ms Mary Nafula Wanjala, age 27yrs, Kenya National at present R/o Vagator Bardez Goa who were found staying in India without valid Passport and Visa. In this connection, Anjuna P.S. registered FIR under sections 7(1)(3)(iii) of Foreigners Order 1948, Sec. 3(2)(a) & 6 (a) of Passport Entry into India rules 1950 & Sec. 3 r/w 4 of Passport Entry Act 1920 punishable U/s 14 of Foreigners Act 1946.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Dhiraj Devidas under the supervision of pi Prashal Dessai and SDPO Jivba Dalvi.
