PANAJI: In a shocking, a case has been registered at Panaji’s Women’s Police Station against five teachers of a higher secondary school here for allegedly abusing a student.
The complaint against the teachers was filed by one of the student’s parents.
The girl’s father said in the complaint that the teacher scolded the girl and did not collect the examination papers from her desk. Based on the father’s complaint, the police filed three FIRs against the teacher.
The complaint states that the teacher misbehaved with this student three times.
Meanwhile, the police said that this was a case of misunderstanding by the student and the teacher apologized for this matter. After that, the girl’s father filed an affidavit to withdraw the case.
The father had said in the first FIR that the girl was reprimanded by the teacher for not appearing for the exam on time. In another FIR against a teacher, it was said that he did not come to collect the answer sheet of a girl from her desk during an examination.
While the third FIR was registered against another teacher for “asking her to do this and that”.
