PANAJI: Mae Dos Pobres High School has brought laurels to Goa by securing second place at the prestigious National Educators Summit 2026 held at Kristu Jayanti University.
The school received national recognition for its outstanding contribution towards promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its efforts in advancing inclusive, equitable and quality education through innovative teaching practices.
Competing against institutions from across the country, the Nuvem-based school stood out for its commitment to the vision of Navadrishti, implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, and collaborative leadership in the field of education.
The achievement has been widely celebrated by the school management, staff, students and well-wishers, who congratulated Headmistress Mable Da Costa and the entire school team for earning national-level recognition and making Goa proud.
The accomplishment is being hailed as a proud moment for Goa’s educational community and a reflection of the state’s growing presence in innovative and quality education initiatives.
