PANAJI: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) has announced a series of organisational appointments aimed at strengthening the party structure and expanding grassroots outreach across the state.
GPCC Working President M.K. Shaikh has appointed three party functionaries as Convenors with immediate effect.
Himanshu Tivrekar has been appointed as Convenor of the Social Media Department of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee. Glenn Cabral has been named Convenor of the Cumbarjua Block Congress Committee, while Suryakant Gawade has been appointed Convenor of the Sankhalim Block Congress Committee.
According to the GPCC, the newly appointed Convenors have been entrusted with the responsibility of leading their respective departments and committees and carrying forward organisational activities in line with the objectives and vision of the Indian National Congress.
The party stated that the appointments reflect its commitment to strengthening its organisational network, enhancing public engagement and providing dedicated workers with greater opportunities to contribute to the Congress movement in Goa.
The GPCC extended its best wishes to the newly appointed Convenors and expressed confidence that they would discharge their responsibilities with dedication, sincerity and commitment to both the party and the people of Goa.
