PORVORIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today has assured to take action against an IPS officer, who was reportedly involved in molesting a girl in a night club in Goa.
“We will not tolerate this; strict action will be taken in connection with the matter.” Said Sawant on the floor of the House.
Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai raised the issue on the floor of the House. Sardesai urged that the IPS officer be suspended right away.
“This case is much more dangerous than drunk and driving, the IPS officer should be sent home, these officers think they are on holiday,” said Sardesai.
