FATORDA: It seems that all is not well between Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai and Margao MLA Digambar Kamat, with the latter saying that he was ready to restore the glory of Margao.
The main question now arises whether Sardesai, with his Goa Forward Party (GFP), is looking to enter the Margao Constituency.
“I am concerned about the deterioration in the commercial capital, and I call for efforts to reverse the trend,” said Sardesai during a function.
He further said that he was ready to restore the glory and take Margao forward with the support of the people and the blessings of the god.
“Margao is Goa’s commercial capital, and I cannot see the city crumbling further, and it is not a good sign,’ he added.
The GFP Chief said that there was a need to reverse the situation and for this needed unity of the people of the commercial capital and the blessings of God,” Vijai said.
Vijai and Digambar have been good friends and had even joined hands to take on the BJP during the recently concluded assembly polls.
