Panaji: In a major decision, the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that Delhi Cabinet has approved setting up of Konkani Academy in Delhi.
CM Kejriwal took to twitter to announce the decision.
“Congratulations to all Konkani speaking people and all those who love Konkani language. To promote Konkani language, Delhi Cabinet today approved setting up of a Konkani academy in Delhi,” he wrote.
The Aam Aadmi party (AAP) is looking to spread its wings in the State and as such has made a major impact in the recently concluded Zilla Parishad elections.
While the party won one seat in Benaulim, the party’s vote share, which was just 7 percent jumped to 15 percent in the ZP polls.
