PANAJI: Karnataka Excise team has seized lakhs worth of liquor being illegally transported outside Goa, at Kankumbi in Karnataka.
The liquor was concealed in a specially-made compartment inside the truck.
The driver has been arrested and the Goa-registered truck has been seized.
The Karnataka excise team informed that the liquor and the seized truck were together worth Rs 27.5 lakh.
