The Election Commission of India (ECI), has already announced the Schedule of filing of Nomination of candidates for Goa from April 12, 2024, and the last date to file nominations for Goa is April 19, 2024. The scrutiny of nominations will be held on April 20, 2024, and withdrawal will be allowed till April 22, 2024.
The Government of Goa has announced April 17th 2024 as a Public holiday in view of the Ram Navami celebration. All the Political Parties and members of the General Public have been informed that both the Collector and District Election Officer, North Goa (DEO), South Goa (DEO) will remain open and operational for the filing of the nomination process without any disruption on this holiday.
