MORJIM: Residents of New Wada, Morjim, have complained about loud music being played at a roadside bar until the early hours of the morning. Locals have also reportedly noticed some foreign tourists engaging in unruly behaviour and moving around on the roads late at night.
In an incident, a tourist who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol reportedly rammed into another vehicle. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. However, both vehicles remained on the road for some time, raising concerns about traffic and road safety.
Local residents are now questioning when action will be taken against the loud music continuing until dawn. They have expressed concern that such late-night activities are not only causing inconvenience to residents but are also posing a potential risk to road safety.
Residents have urged the concerned authorities and police to take the matter seriously and initiate appropriate action against violations of rules.
