QUEPEM: Quepem Police have registered a case against a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl at a rented house in Quepem.
According to police, the complaint was lodged by a woman whose identity has been withheld. She alleged that at around 5:10 am on August 4, the accused, presently residing in Quepem and a native of Cumbarjua, Tiswadi, allegedly entered the rented house where the minor victim was asleep.
Police said the accused allegedly gagged the minor and committed penetrative sexual assault against her will after taking advantage of her vulnerable condition.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is being carried out by LPSI Deepa Deykar of Quepem Police Station.
