QUEPEM: Quepem Police have registered a case against a man for allegedly molesting a minor girl in Rivona.
According to police, the complaint was lodged by the victim’s mother, whose identity has been withheld. She alleged that on July 31, at around 3:00 pm, the accused, identified as Pradeep Kakodkar, a resident of Rivona, Quepem, allegedly forcibly took the minor girl to a cowshed and inappropriately touched her against her will.
Police further stated that at around 5:00 pm the same day, when the victim’s parents had gone out, the accused allegedly came to the girl’s house, caught hold of her hand, again took her to the same cowshed, and allegedly touched her inappropriately. He also allegedly threatened the minor not to disclose the incidents to anyone.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is being carried out by LPSI Joycee Carvalho of Quepem Police Station.
