SALIGAO: Kedar Naik, MLA of Saligao Constituency, conducted a detailed assessment of the long-pending road work from Sangolda Lightning Club to Bhutki Wado, Sangolda, in the presence of Public Works Department (PWD) officials and local residents.
The assessment aimed to address the concerns of residents and commuters regarding the deteriorated road condition, which has been a longstanding issue.
Following the review, Naik announced that the hot-mixing process for the road will commence soon to ensure smoother travel and improved connectivity for the people of Sangolda.
Explaining the delay, Naik said, “The extended monsoon this year caused unavoidable setbacks to road repair work. However, I have ensured that this project is now prioritized to meet the needs of the people and provide a safer, more reliable commuting experience.”
This initiative aligns with MLA Kedar Naik’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and connectivity across the Saligao Constituency.
