PERNEM: Mopa police have arrested one Sameer Haleemshah of Colvle for committing theft of scrap worth Rs 5,81000 from Mopa International Airport premises.
According to police, on Tuesday evening a complaint was registered at Mopa Airport Police Station Crime No. 02/2024 U/s 379 IPC.
Upon the complaint of Shri Pankaj s/ o Pashupathi Pahari, age-36 yrs, occ- Pvt service, г/o H NO.49/1, Hari Om residency, Madhalwada, Arambol Pernem Goa, N/o Tentulmuri, Purba, Medinipur, West Bengal 721447 to the effect that on,137] /2024 at 18.00 hrs to 16/01/2024 at 14.00 hrs, the accused person namely Sameer s/o Abdul Haleemshah, / o Colvale Bardez Goa committed theft of scrap/items materials W/Rs 5,81,000/- belongs to the complainant from Manohar International Airport premises Mopa Pernem Goa.
Further investigation is in progress with ASI Shri D.D. Naik.
