OLD GOA: Authorities at the Old Goa Police Station have taken action against 75 stall owners for operating past the allowed hours during the Old Goa feast as part of a crackdown on unauthorized business activities.
Not only did this illegal commercial activity take place after the appointed time and date, but it also caused a great deal of inconvenience to the general public along the National Highway.
The stall owners were discovered operating their businesses after the permitted time, which caused delays along the crucial National Highway.
In addition to breaking the law, these unapproved operations could endanger both public safety and the efficient flow of traffic on this important route.
The 75 stall owners have been charged for their participation in these unlawful activities, and more actions are anticipated to ensure compliance and stop similar incidents from happening again.
