PORVORIM: Porvorim police have arrested one accused person for kidnapping a minor girl from Porvorim.
As per PI Rahul Parab of Porvorim Police Station the complaint was lodged by the mother of the minor girl stating that her daughter has been kidnapped and taken away by unknown person from Nerul , Bardez Goa
Further detail investigation was conducted and it was revealed that Accused person Mr. Arjun s/o Raju Kadam age 18 yrs r/o Khed Pune has kidnapped the minor girl.
Through reliable information the accused was found to be staying with the minor girl at at Kavathe village, Pune, Maharashtra.
Accordingly a team of Porvorim PS consisting of PSI Mayur Sawant, PC Akash Naik, PC Deeptesh and LPC Sunita Rathod visited Pune and traced the accused and rescued the victim girl. Accused is placed under arrest at Porvorim PS
Further investigation is going on with LPSI Prajoti Dessai under the supervision of SDPO porvorim Vishwesh Karpe and SP North Akshay Kaushal, IPS.
