PANAJI: Poorna Dance Academy in association with Directorate of Art and Culture, Panaji is all set to organise yet another Dance recital in the name of DARPAN 2.0 on 4th February 2024 at 6.30 pm at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. The Chief Guest for the function will be Shri. Govind Gaude, Minister for Art & Culture, Goa, Shri. Digambar Kamat, MLA, Margao constituency and Shri Damu Naik, General Secretary, BJP Goa Pradesh.
Poorna Dance Academy co-founded by two classical dancers viz. Pooja Madkaikar and Aparna Tiloji, being teachers, choreographers, performers, having learnt Bharatnatyam style together for past 20 years with an intention to carry forward the art, culture, tradition knowledge and appreciation for Indian Art forms.
Poorna Dance Academy had their 1st Dance presentation named DARPAN in 2019 held at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao which received a very good response from the audience and was a huge success.
Around 90+ artists and students would be a part of this program performing live and showcasing their talent. Envisioned and choreographed by Pooja and Aparna the event focuses on different battles in life which shall take the audience on an artistic, emotional and melodious journey.
It is open for public on first come first serve basis.
