BAMBOLIM: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar today said that private investment will be called in organisation of International Film Festival of India from its 52nd edition in 2021.
“Now it’s just Goa Government and Centre that organises IFFI, we are thinking of private investment will be called in organisation of International Film Festival of India from its 52nd edition in 2021,” said Javadekar
He further said that IFFI holds a great importance and he was delighted because of the inauguration of IFFI Goa taking place during the COVID times.
“IFFI51 has received more than 200 film entries despite the pandemic,” he said
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that the annual IFFI gives an opportunity to members of film fraternity from across the world to explore the jewel from the west coast of India.
“I invite Indian and global film makers to look at Goa as a preferred destination for film making,” he said
