PANAJI: Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited (IPSCDL) today has said all those roads on International Film Festival of India (IFFI) route will be completed November 20.
Sanjit Rodrigues IAS today inspected the work of ongoing smart city roads in connection with IFFI festival.
“8 kms roads are under Smart City works and those roads on IFFI route will be completed before 20th,” said Sanjit Rodrigues
He further informed that work on other internal roads will continue.
“The road next to Samrat theatre which is one one venue, this road will be completed before IFFI; we are putting efforts to complete this stretch,” he added.
Rodrigues said that those roads which connect IFFI venues will be completed before while other internal roads, work will go on.
“No work will be carried out on roads where there are venues of IFFI, other areas non connected to IFFI works will continue.
The new IPSCDL managing director & CEO also said officials will sit together and chalk out plans to work strategically on the ground.
He also said that he would talk to the police to draw up a proper traffic plan and take appropriate measures such as demarcating some roads as one-way, making others heavy vehicles barred roads, etc.
