VASCO: Vasco Police have registered a case following the theft of a road roller worth approximately ₹8 lakh from Chicolna, Bogmalo.
According to the complaint filed by Suraj Phaldessai of Cuncolim, the road roller was parked by the side of the road at Chicolna, Bogmalo, when unknown accused persons allegedly stole it on August 12, 2026, at around 7.30 am.
Police said the accused allegedly used a hydra crane and trailer to lift and transport the road roller, which belonged to the complainant.
An FIR has been registered at Vasco Police Station under Crime No. 83/2026 under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Plato Carvalho of Vasco Police Station.
