Valpoi: The protest by the Melauli villagers got a short in the arm as the neighbouring villages have started showing support to their cause.
Around 300 villagers from Mauxi held a protest march from their village to Melaulim to extend their support to the anti-IIT agitation of the Shel-Melaulim villagers.
Police attempted to stop the rally near the Valpoi market but villagers managed to continue with their march.
Not just Mauxi, the youth of Dhamshe also extended their support to Shel Melauli villagers and will march towards the IIT Goa proposed site to support the protestors.
For seventh day in succession, the villagers are protesting at the site and have vowed not to allow demarcation of site.
