PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that Transport Department and Police Department will take strict action against those who are giving private bikes and scooters for rent.
“Transport Department and Police Department will take strict action against those who are giving private bikes and scooters for rent. While I was on Atal Setu, today I saw two bikes with private number plates given on rent,’ said CM Sawant.
He further said that it was definitely tourists and not Goans, as our people are aware that bikes are not allowed on the bridge.
“As I am aware, some people are giving their personal bikes for rent to the tourists,” he added.
Sawant said that he will hold a Virtual interaction with Swayampurna Mitras and the newly elected sarpanch and panch on October 22. He said that Government will take swayampurna 2.0 forward.
