AAP leader Sandesh Telekar has accused PI Chawan of corruption. He is the same officer that started the externment process against Telekar in 2020 while he was working as the PI in Canacona due to Telekar’s suspected involvement in five criminal crimes.
Two constables, Akash Naik and Ganpat Tilogi, who were momentarily affiliated to the Calangute PS, were reassigned by the department to Fatorda and Cuncolim PS, respectively, in a separate order.
This response to Manoj Singh’s charges that two police officers conspired with him and his former business partner to participate in criminal activities along the coastal belt, including operating illegal gambling enterprises and threatening him and his family, has major repercussions.
