PANAJI: TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane said that his department will be signing an MoU with IGBC for green certification in a bid to work toward a Green Goa.
Rane presided over TCP board meeting where we heard several appeals & addressed various issues.
“We shall be soon signing an MoU with IGBC for green certification, they shall also be helping us with various planning aspects to work towards a GreenGoa” said Rane
The IGBC will be regularity monitoring the compliance of green certification and the completion certificates to the projects will be granted only if it is within green framework.
He further informed that all the issues that were discussed will be put forth to Vinayak Bharne, our Honorary Advisor for TCP, the CTP, Swati Salgaocar and other experts.
“After deliberations with the concerned stakeholders, all the issues will be addressed and taken forward” he added
Meanwhile, Rane also finalised various consultants who have met the criteria, these consultants will be helping us for making plans, and help the department with regard to ODP, #zoning plans, etc.
