MANDREM: A 38-year-old Thailand national has been booked by Mandrem Police for allegedly staying illegally in Goa without valid travel documents.
According to police, the complaint was lodged by Devendra Pingle (37), Police Inspector attached to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Panaji.
The complaint stated that during a verification conducted at around 12:40 pm on August 5 at La Cabana Beach and Spa Resort, Ashwem, the accused, identified as Itsaraporn Phannakhen, was found residing in India without a valid visa.
Police said the woman was allegedly staying in violation of the provisions of Section 23(a) of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
Mandrem Police have registered the case, and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Laximan Dessai.
