PANAJI: North Goa SP Nidhin Valsan, reacting to the theft at District and Sessions Court, said that the accused was well-versed in the court functioning.
“The accused was well-versed in court functioning. The person targeted case properties which include cash and gold items,” said Valsan.
He further said that the accused that is he/she singled out demonetised old currency notes and only took new notes and gold items that were part of the evidence in cases.
“The value is being ascertained,” SP said.
