Margao: Margao Town Police have registered a case of theft following a break-in at a fashion shop located at Pajifond, Margao.
According to the complaint lodged by Rainer Dias, a resident of Aldona, the incident occurred between 10.00 pm on February 2 and 9.00 am on February 3, 2026, at Cove Fashion Shop No. 05, Bemivinda Apartment, Pajifond Margao.
Police said that an unknown person gained entry into the shop by bending the shutter and allegedly stole cash amounting to ₹40,161 from the shop’s cash counter.
Further investigation in the case is being carried out by ASI Umesh Gawde of Margao Town Police Station.
