MAPUSA: Mapusa police have arrested 03 persons for vehicle theft and seized properties worth Rs. 5,00,000/-
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on 01.03 .2023, Kalim Mulla S/o Hazarali Mulla, aged 35 years R/o Ganganagar, Khorlim, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa, had lodged his complaint that on 25.02.2023 at around 04.30 am early morning In front of Karim Garage, Ghateshwarnagar, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa some unknown Persons stole away Bajaj Pulsar Motor Cycle bearing registration No. GA-03-Q-8135, TVS Victor Motorcycle bearing registration No. GA-07-A-1964. and Bajaj Pulsar Motor Cycle bearing registration No. GA-03-D-7224 approx, which were parked in front of his garage
Further, during the Investigation, staff of Mapusa Police Station, after developing the information received through sources and after hectic and meticulous efforts, intercepted 1) Prajyot Prakash Chari, aged 34 years R/o Dangui Colony, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa, 2) Shahid Siddique S/o Mohammad Umat Ali, aged 29 years R/o Behind Bandekar Petrol Pump, Karaswada, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa and 3) Sandesh Bhagwan Salkar, aged 27 years R/o Dattawadi, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa N/o Khutwal, Pernem, Goa along with stolen property at Karaswada, Mapusa.
Police have seized various vehicle parts from the accused, such as a Mahindra Goods carrier bearing registration No. GA-03-N-3547, fuel tanks of motorcycles, and 03 m/cycles with different chassis numbers. All the seized properties are worth Rs. 5,00,000/-.
All three accused are remanded in Police Custody for two days
PI Paresh Naik led the investigation team under the supervision and guidance of SDPO Mapusa l Jivba Dalvi and SP North Nidhin Valsan, who monitored the Investigation and consisted of PSI Bablo Parab, Head Constable Sushant Chopdekar and Constables Prakash Polekar, Abhishek Kasar , Anand Rathod, Akshay Patil All of Mapusa Police Station.
