ANJUNA: Anjuna Police have registered an offence against a 42-year-old Ugandan national for allegedly staying illegally in Goa without a valid passport or travel documents.
The offence was registered at 11.59 pm on August 11, 2026, following the receipt of a Zero FIR from Panaji Police Station, registered under Section 23(a) of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
According to the complaint lodged by Devendra Pingle, Police Inspector, Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Panaji, the accused, identified as Nyombi Aaliyah, 42, a Ugandan national, was allegedly found staying in Goa without valid travel documents, in contravention of the provisions of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
Police said further investigation into the case is in progress. The investigation is being conducted by PSI Sahil V. Warang of Anjuna Police Station.
