PANAJI: On December 7, the first charter flight from Uzbekistan will land for the current tourist season, a major milestone in the partnership with India and a testament to the strengthening ties in tourism and cultural exchange.
It is scheduled to arrive at 11:05 am and depart at 12:20 pm. Minister of Tourism Rohan Khaunte announced that he would be present to welcome and meet the arriving visitors.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome to Goa the first charter from Uzbekistan. We hope that this will be the start of a long and successful partnership.
He stated in a press release on Thursday, “We look forward to more such tie-ups with the government and people of Uzbekistan, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening the tourism bond between our nations.
The Indian ambassador to Uzbekistan, Manish Prabhat, was present at the opening ceremony of the Tashkent International Tourism Fair, which the Goa tourism delegation recently attended.
