Vasco: Vasco traffic cell has rolled up their sleeves to tackle traffic congestion during this year end at Verna to Agassaim road stretch.
Vasco Traffic cell incharge, traffic police inspector Sudesh Narvekar told reporters that traffic cell will take care of the traffic congestion issue during year end, as their higher ups have already assigned additional staff at the Agassaim to Verna road stretch to regulate traffic.
He added that during peak hours there was slow movement if traffic which is also due to increase in the domestic tourists and taxis, office staff passing through the Zuari bridge stretch or sometimes due to vehicular accidents.
Narvekar also added that they have dedicated crane, additional staff to clear the traffic congestion and ensure smooth movement of traffic.
