The advertisement was ultimately withdrawn following the intervention of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.
However, the issue did not end there, as another company was reported to be conducting walk-in interviews in Pune for openings in Goa.
This has sparked further outrage among the local population, with demands for stricter regulations to ensure that at least 80 per cent of recruitment is reserved for locals.
