PANJIM: Goa today witnessed 445 new Covid19 cases. While there were 523 recoveries and 8 deaths.
With Covid claiming 8 more lives in Goa, the death toll of the state reached 450 today.
As per DHS bulletin, of the 8 deaths 4 were recorded at GMC and 4 at ESI Hospital, Margao.
Two of the patients died within 10 hours of admission in the hospital. A 45-year-old man from Bicholim, 57-year-old woman from Curtorim, 60-year-old man from Navelim, 70-year-old woman from Balli, 74-year-old woman from Curchorem.
Further, 80-year-old man from Margao and two male from Taleigao aged 55 and 59 succumbed to Covid in the last 24-hours.
Meanwhile, active cases now stand at 4923.
