The ABVP North Goa delegation submitted a memorandum to the President through the North Goa District Collector’s office demanding justice for the women here under the message.

PANAJI: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is holding a nationwide protest against Trinamool Congress leaders’ gang-rape, land grabbing and criminal activities in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, creating a environment of fear, forcing local Hindu families to flee.
A similar protest was held at Panaji bus stand by ABVP Goa.
It is to be noted that the ABVP in its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting held in Puducherry on February 27-28 passed a resolution condemning the incident under the message and expressing serious concern over the deteriorating situation in West Bengal.
ABVP Goa State Convenor, Dhanashree Mandrekar says, “Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal is continuously promoting anti-people policies and protecting corrupt officials and criminals. Common people have suffered due to the appeasement policy in West Bengal, where the state government is protecting corrupt officials. The common people Rights are being trampled upon.Trinamool Congress leaders have made life difficult for women and marginalized communities by harboring heinous crimes under the patronage of the state government.
Meanwhile, on the same day, the North Goa delegation of ABVP, Additional Collector of North Goa Deepak S. Desai presented a statement to the President of India, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, at the North Goa Collectorate, Panaji, demanding justice for the victims of the atrocities committed by Sandeshwar in West Bengal.
ABVP stands with the women and people who have been tortured and raped by TMC leaders. ABVP North Goa convenor Sudeep Naik, co-convenor Raj Shetye Korgaonkar, co-convenor Sarvesh Talwadkar and Santoshi Shetgaonkar were present while giving the statement.
North Goa convener Sudeep Naik said, “TMC goons should realize that their end is near and the country stands with the women of Sandeshwal. We strongly demand fair and speedy justice for the Sandeshwal women.”
