MALPE: Two persons were critically injured in an accident at Malpe landing wherein a tanker carrying diesel from Mumbai to Mopa airport hit an incoming Maruti car.
The fire brigade was rushed to the spot, and the two injured Shyam Masurkar and Sandeep Goap were taken to the hospital. Information has revealed Masurkar has injured his leg and waist, and Sandeep Goap has injured his leg and head.
“The oncoming tanker, MH-02-FG-7771 hit the Maruti car, the tanker was carrying diesel from Mumbai to Mopa Airport, fire extinguisher Constable Jayaram Shetgaonkar, driver Ramdas Parab, jawan Amol Parab, Mayur Naik and Prajyot Hobale were rescued under the leadership of Assistant Force Officer Prashant Dhargalkar,” the authorities claimed
Meanwhile, the locals praised the fire brigade for this excellent service and dedication.
