CURCHOREM: The annual feast of Guardian Angel was celebrated with great religious fervour on Sunday at Guardian Angel church, Curchorem.
“Rakhnnea Boddveachea Mozotin, Jezun Kelem Toxem Korum-ia, Tachim Pattlavdaram Mhonn Govai Dium-ia.” was the theme and the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Rosary church, Navelim Fr. Gabriel Coutinho was the main celebrant for the Eucharistic celebration with Parish Priest Fr. Vital Miranda, Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Ashilff Correia, Fr. Joaquim Rebello, Fr. Jerry Vaz Fr. Thomas Gonsalves, Fr. Agapito D’Cunha,,Fr. Michael Rebello and .Deacon Melvin Gomes.
In his homily, Fr. Coutinho said that ego is the greatest problem which destroys relationships in the family. “Do service to others with good mindset and not with ulterior motive. Christian life is not only lighting the candles but must follow the teaching of Christ.” said Fr. Coutinho and urged the parents to give a good values to the children which is the gratest treasurer they can keep behind for their children.
After the Eucharistic a procession with the image of Guardian Angel was taken out where devotees and children depicting as Angels participated.
Later in the evening a Konkani tiatr Ho Inam Koslo?” by Ulhas Tari will be staged at Ravindra Bhavan auditorium, Curchorem in aid of Fr. Agnelo Primary School, Curchorem.
