Team Goemkarponn Calangute: Calangute police have registered a case of theft after a gold chain weighing around 16 grams and valued at ₹1.5 lakh was reported stolen from a residence at Khobrawado on Sunday. The complaint was lodged by Esha Calangutkar, a resident of Khobrawado, who alleged that the accused, identified as Sakhu Lamani (20), daughter of Gurappa Lamani and originally from Shirunda, Gadag, Karnataka, stole the ornament from a cupboard drawer at her house near Charlton Hotel around 10 am.
