Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: Fatorda Police have arrested six persons in connection with the theft of copper wires and other materials from BSNL pillar cabinets at Fatorda and several other locations in South Goa. The case came to light after BSNL Sub-Divisional Engineer Sneha Gaonkar lodged a complaint on September 12 regarding a theft at the Fatorda Stadium Pillar near SFX Chapel. New Delhi: West Bengal’s ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls has brought renewed attention to what happens when a voter’s name is excluded and the subsequent appeal takes years to resolve. According to figures submitted by the Election Commission, 1,26,194 appeals were decided by appellate tribunals in the five months after they began functioning in mid April.
